For some reason I didn’t realize it was Leap Year until 3rd period though.

I remember once TV channels (like Disney or Cartoon Network) would have a whole Leap Year day marathon set up. I think there was no school that year… Hm.

Also a surprising amount of people’s birthdays are being recognized today. Fascinating.

I kind of wished this day didn’t exist though, that the extra day could go to next year.

And then a few philosophical turns later, I decided against it because “be careful what you wish for”.

I ended up getting lost and my conclusion was “The Postmaster’s city philosophy omg.”

2/28/12 –> 2^2+8=12 // 2+2+8 = 12 // (2*2)/8 = 1/2

And some people put up a bunch of more complicated math stuff which Rath got angry at when he saw it on the board and they erased it but I didn’t even bother to copy in the first place anyways.

I found more chapters of Akagami no Shirayukihime!

I have a love-hate relationship with this manga.

On one hand, Shirayuki is weak (what, you just let everyone else fight while you hide behind guards?!) and static. Zen is also largely static, though he’s starting to develop a personality (maybe? He’s really sappy…..>.<) Mitsuhide and Kiki work well as a pair. Izana is impressive as a ruler. Prince Raji’s character actually develops so I like him. Obi also has actual character development so +1 for his character too.

The drawings are really nice.

But the characters and the sappiness and this plotline ):

… Why do I continue to read this manga.

Lol once my mom and sister were watching a drama like the way I’m reading this manga.

“Psh the story is so predictable”. “You already know what’s going to happen.” “That guy looks so weird.”

Meanwhile they continually clicked for the next episode.

Minute Late February 25, 2012

It’s been 11:12 every time I’ve checked for 11:11 this week. ARGH.

Hi.

I realized I have written anything for blog today.

I have been in Writerwrage (yes, wrage.) Which is basically when you go “ALL OF THIS IS CRAP” and you don’t have a deadline to fill like with English homework so you delete it all and start again.

At least I’m not wasting paper, like the olden days before typewriters.

Oh wait maybe before typewriters. Apparently going over mistakes in typewritten papers is tedious.

Lol if you’ve watched Tangled, I dare you to go watch Happily Never After.

Happily Never After came out before Tangled, and I have this feeling that the people being Tangled watched it and then re-edited into something more amazing.

We couldn’t stand Happily Never After when we watched it today (though a few years ago we thought it was pretty cool). Today all I could think about was how much better Tangled was LOL.

I was expecting Flynn after hearing Rick’s introduction. (Similar voices/dialogue)

And then I saw Rick and his greasy-looking hair.

Ew.

Sorry if I just ruined the movie for you. I am obviously overly biased for Tangled.

Pretend you didn’t read that (if you want to watch Happily Never After without the negative influence.)

And of course we switched movies after that.

Our ice cream in Kuei was amazing :D So doing that again in the summer or when it’s warm enough to eat ice cream.

I’d do it now, but I have no half-and-half and we still have a carton of ice cream that doesn’t expire until April.

On the other hand our Icees were terrible. First of all we ran out of ice and time to make real Icees so we just drank the stuff diluted with water.

Also, if confused had a taste, that’s what our Icee mix tasted like (we were mixing flavors)

It’s taking the fun out of the Internet. Which sounds really ADHD or overly spoiled of me, but it’s hard for Internet to be distracting from homework when it takes half an hour for a 5 minute video to load.

Lol over the weekend I found Chp 6 of Liselotte to Majo no Mori (finally).

Except it was in French. My French 2 skills weren’t really sufficient for reading, so I had to Google Translate my way through 40 pages.

I feel like Liselotte is going to be the first main character of Natsuki Takaya’s that I dislike. I haven’t read her mangas before Fruits Basket though, so maybe Liselotte isn’t the only one.

Stalemate February 18, 2012

My bread is turning stale, mate.

Hi alls.

There are lots of things I could be doing. Like history homework, math homework, reading, chem stuff, writing projects, practicing my instruments, cleaning up, washing the dishes, starting the comic that I am supposed to release on Monday.

Instead I have been playing Pet Society, rereading manga, listening to music, stalking some musicians on the Internet (BLG’s new album is being created yay), watching Youtube videos, eating Girl Scout cookies, and had some fan crises.

Crises include forgetting Tohru’s dad’s name in Fruits Basket and forgetting what the melody of The Saltwater Room sounded like for Owl City (I kept thinking it was Honey and the Bee’s melody).

And actually I did do some history homework and I did wash dishes -.-

Happy Valentine’s Day February 14, 2012

I remember in Junie B. Jones the characters had some argument about whether it was “Valentine” or “Valentime”. … I remember a lot of random things.

Anyways.

I was actually going to post up comic type Valentine cards but 1) I don’t feel like it anymore and 2) I still haven’t come up with enough

So maybe I’ll put up belated Valentine’s Day cards. Unless I get more interested in my president’s day stuff. (I need to learn how to draw Washington though. Hunh.)

Screw the questionnaire I don’t feel like that either.

I am perfectly content being single on Valentine’s Day, although I am sad because last year Owl City did a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Enchanted” but this year he didn’t do any cover. But t’is ok! He posted a picture of his studio monitor looking like Spongebob. Lol.

But, he worked with some other artists some months ago. And one of those songs will be at the end of the post.

Also sad that my mom won’t let me watch the final episode of this drama on TV.

I realized I haven’t been on this blog this weekend. Hum.

I’ve decided to output at least one poem or story every weekend (probably Sunday) as a personal goal to keep writing. On my Exsperamental blog.

Lol even though Valentine’s Day is coming up I ended up writing some weird genre-less blob of a story about a boy and a marble.

While watching the Grammy’s yesterday I felt a bit like a hippie for hoping some less notable artists would win, like Mumford and Sons or Bon Iver (actually Bon Iver did win one award, I think.)
